‘Sesame Street’ Will Launch Arabic Version To Help Refugee Kids Learn

Our hearts are melting with this news.

In case you didn’t know, there are more people living as refugees than at any time in history since WWII — and around half of those refugees are children, according to ScaryMommy.com.

That means millions of children around the world spend their entire childhood as refugees, which is why Sesame Street is stepping in to address their issues.

“Sesame Workshop has teamed up with the International Rescue Committee to address the desperate need for educational resources in refugee camps, especially in places where refugees from Syria and other Arab states have sought refuge,” reports ScaryMommy.com.
