Jon Gosselin Opens Up About Going Bankrupt After Divorce From Kate Gosselin

Jon Gosselin is telling it all about his divorce from Kate Gosselin on Monday’s episode of The Dr. Oz Show.

The father of eight is finally giving his side of the story, 10 years after he and Kate split. In the interview, he says that the network TLC (which aired Jon & Kate Plus 8) helped finance Kate during their divorce proceedings… but he had to support himself.

“I literally hung a sign on my gate saying, ‘If any crew members show up, I’ll have you arrested for trespassing,’” he told Dr. Oz, as excerpted from People. “They sued me for breach of contract and I pretty much bankrupted myself.”

“I’ve spent $1.7 million in lawyers fees from when TLC sued me and the divorce,” he said, adding that “TLC paid for [Kate’s] attorneys in the lawsuit and for her divorce.”

Kate, however, is calling him out.

“I have consistently made it a rule never to respond to Jon’s delusional ramblings, and I will not break that rule now,” Kate told People magazine. “However, at some point soon, I look forward to making sure the absolute truth about our family is known.”

Ouch! Well whatever the case may be, we’re surely interested in watching the interview on Monday.
