Ouch! Drake Was Booed Off The Stage By Fans

Tyler the Creator is defending his friend, Drake, after the rapper was booed off stage by fans who were expecting to see Frank Ocean.

“I THOUGHT BRINGING ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTIST ON THE F**KING PLANET TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS FIRE!” Tyler wrote in all caps on social media. “BUT FLIPSIDE, A LIL TONE DEAF KNOWING THE SPECIFIC CROWD IT DREW.”

He added, “SOME CREATED A NARRATIVE IN THEIR HEAD AND ACTED OUT LIKE ASS***** WHEN IT DIDN’T COME TRUE AND I DON’T F*** WITH THAT.”

He also called what happened to Drake “CANCEL CULTURE IN REAL LIFE.”

The crowd became rowdy when Drake appeared as a surprise guest headliner at Camp Flog Gnaw at Dodger Stadium in New York City.

Organizers kept it under wraps about who was gracing the stage, which lead many attendees to assume it was going to be Frank Ocean. Instead, they got Drake… and it clearly didn’t end well.

We would have been happy just to be there, though! Right?
