Twitter Is Stunned After Lori Loughlin Pleads Not Guilty To College Admission Trial

Lori Loughlin is still living on a prayer, after she and her husband Mossimo Giannulli pleaded not guilty this week to further bribery charges in the college admissions scandal.

Lori and 11 other parents were given new criminal charges of conspiracy to commit federal program bribery by prosecutors.

According to the LA Times, the couple was previously warned by prosecutors that they would face additional charges if they didn’t plead guilty.

But, they are clearly still fighting since they pleaded NOT GUILTY. For the record, Felicity Huffman pleaded guilty to her own charges and ended up serving less than two weeks (though her charges were much much lighter than Lori’s).

ABC News reported on Friday that Lori and Mossimo are already facing conspiracy to commit money laundering, conspiracy to commit mail fraud, and honest services mail fraud — to which they also pleaded not guilty.

So really, it’s NOT GUILTY all round for the couple. We’ll see how much of an argument they have to the plea, but so far the evidence doesn’t seem to be working in their favor.

Naturally, Twitter had some opinions:
