BREAKING: Felicity Huffman Is Released From Prison!

Excuse me?! Felicity Huffman is a free woman, y’all.

According to Us Weekly, the actress was just released from prison after semi-completing her two-week sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California.

“Felicity Huffman has been released from the custody of the Bureau of Prisons today, October 25, 2019, per BOP Program Statement 5140.36 ‘Release of Inmates Prior to a Weekend or Legal Holiday,’” the Federal Bureau of Prisons said in a statement.

Of course, given that inmates are only released on the weekends, she was released five days before the two-week mark. She’d entered prison on October 15.

“Felicity Huffman reported today for sentencing to the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, CA. Ms. Huffman is prepared to serve the term of imprisonment Judge Talwani ordered as one part of the punishment she imposed for Ms. Huffman’s actions,” Felicity’s attorney told Us Weekly.

“She will begin serving the remainder of the sentence Judge Talwani imposed — one year of supervised release, with conditions including 250 hours of community service — when she is released.”

The sentence also included a $30,000 fine. Ouch! Let this be a lesson to mothers: if you feel pressure to break the law to help your kids… think twice?
