Scarlett Johansson Loved How Colin Jost’s Proposed: ‘He Killed It’
Isn’t love grand? Well it’s even grander in Hollywood!
SNL star Colin Jost apparently did a very fine job popping the question to his fiancee Scarlett Johansson, and she spilled all the beans when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Scarlett told Ellen that the funnyman “killed it” when proposing with “a whole James Bond situation.”
“It was surprising, he’s got a lot behind that news desk he’s hiding,” she said of the Weekend Update favorite. “He’s very charming and very thoughtful and romantic. But yeah, I was surprised. Even if you kind of imagine what that moment’s gonna be like, it’s still a beautiful moment.”
The two had been dating for two years before getting engaged. Last summer, she revealed a fabulous 11-carat engagement ring at San Diego Comic-Con for her upcoming Black Widow prequel.
“It was very personal. It was a special moment,” she added of the proposal. “I think, more than anything, when someone tells you they want to spend their life with you, that’s a lovely, special thing.”
