Prince’s estate gave a resounding HELL NO to President Trump playing “Purple Rain” at his campaign rallies.

The singer’s estate said the 1984 classic was played during a 2020 presidential campaign event in Minneapolis.

“President Trump played Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ tonight at a campaign event in Minneapolis despite confirming a year ago that the campaign would not use Prince’s music,” the statement read, as posted above.

The estate was clear that Prince would not want his art used in the rallies.

“The Prince Estate will never give permission to President Trump to use Prince’s songs,” the tweet added.

Damn! Even in death, whatever Prince says… goes.
