Drake Speaks Out About His Father’s Claim That The Rapper Lies About Him In His Songs

Drake is speaking out about his father, Dennis Graham, who claims that his son lies about the state of their relationship to sell records.

See what Drake wrote on his Instagram story:

Recently, Dennis said in a Power 106 interview with Nick Cannon that Drake admitted to exaggerating details of their relationship to sell records, adding that he rapped about Dennis’s past alcoholism and being an absentee father.

“I had a conversation with Drake about that. I have always been with Drake,” Dennis told Nick.

“I talk to him if not every day, then every other day. We really got into a deep conversation about that. I said, ‘Drake, why are you saying all of this different stuff about me? This is not cool.’ He [said], ‘Dad, it sells records.’ OK, well, cool.”

Ouch! Not sure if that’s the right way to sell records, if it’s true. But we guess drama is more interesting than nothing, right?
