Talk about embarrassing, right?!

According to Sunday Times of London, Elton John writes in his new book, Me, that he witnessed Queen Elizabeth repeatedly slap her nephew across the face.

The singer claims that at a party, the Queen asked her nephew, Viscount Linley, to watch over his sister, Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones. But apparently Viscount didn’t want to do that… at all.

“When he [Linley] repeatedly tried to fob her off, the Queen lightly slapped him across the face, saying ‘Don’t’ – slap – ‘argue’ – slap – ‘with’ – slap – ‘me’ – slap – ‘I’ – slap – ‘am’ – slap – ‘THE QUEEN!’”

Following the slap show, Viscount followed her instructions.

But it gets better! Apparently, when the Queen saw that Elton witnessed the whole thing, she gave him a wink.

“I know the Queen’s public image isn’t exactly one of wild frivolity, but . . . in private she could be hilarious,” Elton wrote.

OMG! Who knew the Queen was such a sassy lady.
