Michael Cohen Is Apparently Living A Good Life In Prison

Donald Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen is apparently living “like a celebrity” in prison and is the “mayor” of his jail, according to Page Six.

Michael supposedly has a job repairing fire hydrants since the ex-presidential fixer began a three-year sentence in a federal prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion and campaign finance violations tied to hush money he paid to two women “to cover up Trump’s dirty deeds,” as he once said.

“People wish Michael Cohen is getting beaten up every day in prison — but he’s literally the mayor of the prison. He’s doing great: The other inmates call him ‘Mr Mayor,’” his attorney David Schwartz told Page Six after a prison visit. “He’s a celebrity in the jail. Everybody is coming up and shaking his hand. He’s enjoying hanging out with the other inmates.”

Otisville prison, where he’s staying, has been dubbed one of America’s cushiest prisons with 120 inmates living in dormitories with personal cubicles.

As Page Six reports, the prison boasts a gym and tennis and basketball courts.

David added, “Michael has a job fixing fire hydrants. He really enjoys his work. He looks great — he is tan, works out every day and has lost more than 30 pounds. He sleeps in a cubicle with a bed, night table and a desk … He is basically very unstressed. The only downside is he misses his family.”

Whatever state the prison might be in, let’s get real: it’s definitely better than the White House!
