Aaron Carter Reveals Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Anxiety Diagnoses
Aaron Carter is sharing his truth in a candid interview on The Doctors, revealing his struggle through multiple mental health issues.
“The official diagnosis is that I suffer from multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety and manic depression,” he said in a video obtained by TMZ. “I’m prescribed to Xanax, Seroquel, Gabapentin, Hydroxyzine, Trazodone, Omeprazen.”
The singer is also seen holding a Ziplock bag full of pill bottles: “This is my reality,” he says. “Hi. I have nothing to hide.”
On an upcoming episode, Aaron is set to take a drug test to prove he’s clean of recreational drugs.
