No matter how much harder it is for Woody Allen amidst the backdrop of #MeToo, it always seems Scarlett Johansson will have his back.

The actress recently told The Hollywood Reporter that she would absolutely work with Woody again. Of course, the director has been accused by estranged daughter Dylan Farrow of sexual abuse — and is currently married to his former step-daughter.

“I love Woody,” the actress continued. “I believe him, and I would work with him anytime.”

Scarlett worked with Woody on Match Point, Scoop and Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

“I see Woody whenever I can, and I have had a lot of conversations with him about it,” she added of the whole scandal. “I have been very direct with him, and he’s very direct with me. He maintains his innocence, and I believe him.”

“It’s hard because it’s a time where people are very fired up, and understandably,” she concluded. “Things needed to be stirred up, and so people have a lot of passion and a lot of strong feelings and are angry, and rightfully so. It’s an intense time.”
