YAY! Sasha Obama Started College at University of Michigan
Sasha Obama is going to college, officially making the Obama household an empty nest!
The youngest daughter of former President Barack Obama will start classes at the University of Michigan next week, The Detroit News reports.
Sasha (real name Natasha) was seen at the university’s freshman orientation at the Ann Arbor school this week. She was apparently followed by Secret Service agents.
“I was walking by pushing a vacuum and she walked out right in front of me,” Zach Lassen, a third-year film student, told the paper. “I said, ‘Excuse me.’ It was a crowded hallway with her and some Secret Service dudes.”
The school itself declined to comment about Sasha’s enrollment.
Barack himself attended Columbia University while her mom, Michelle Obama, attended Princeton University. Sasha’s older sister, Malia, enrolled at Harvard in 2017 after taking a gap year.
