According to Jussie Smollett’s PR team, the former Empire actor who claimed to have been the victim of a hate crime has evidence that backs up his allegations.

Furthermore, the team says they have police evidence that supports Jussie’s claims as well — despite the fact, they say, that police repeatedly have stated it was all staged.

According to an email statement reported on by Page Six, his reps say that “every iota of information … Smollett has stated has been fully corroborated.”

The statement didn’t specify what evidence allegedly backs his claim that masked men hurling racist and homophobic insults beat him and looped a noose around his neck.

Authorities say that GPS data, video, and other evidence prove Jussie paid the men to fake a hate crime. So… we guess we’ll have to wait for the trial.
