Unsurprisingly, Harvey Weinstein pleaded not guilty to two new counts of sexual assault.

As we previously reported, the new charges, which were made by former The Sopranos actress Annabella Sciorra, carry a maximum life sentence. Her charges were added to his existing case when Manhattan prosecutors re-presented Harvey’s case to a grand jury at the eleventh hour.

With these charges, the trial has been pushed from September 9 to January 6. We’ll definitely be following what comes next.
