It’s been reported that Harvey Weinstein will be arraigned next week on a new indictment in his sex assault case.

According to prosecutors, the disgraced movie mogul was “indicted Thursday on revised charges meant to fix a technical problem with the existing indictment,” Page Six reports.

The indictment does not add additional charges, however, and it’s not postponing the September 9 trial already in place. Rather, the case was simply re-presented to a grand jury, giving way for The Sopranos actress Annabella Sciorra to testify against Harvey.

Outlets are reporting that the actress’s testimony might bring about two new counts of predatory sexual assault, which could carry a maximum life sentence — when added on to the charges he’s already facing.

Annabella claims the producer raped her inside her apartment after she starred in a movie he produced in 1993.

Now that these new charges are added to the trial, it looks like his defense is crumbling. We’ll keep following this story!
