Hoda Kotb Is Returning To The ‘Today’ Show After Maternity Leave

Hoda Kotb is coming back to the Today show next month. Yay! The mother of two announced in a video that she’s returning to the studio on Sept. 3 after going on maternity leave in April.

“Hi, guys. Guess what? It’s time to get my roots done, I’m coming back to work,” she said on her Insta story. “I’m going to be there on September the 3rd, right after Labor Day. You guys, I’m so excited.”

Hoda adopted daughter Hope Catherine this spring. In the video, she said she had “the best summer of my entire life” with Hope, her other adopted daughter, Haley Joy, and her long-term boyfriend Joel Schiffman.

“I’ve loved every second of it, but you know what else I’m going to love, coming back to you guys,” she said. “So I am getting ready, I’m setting my alarm. 3:15 a.m., OK, we’ll be back in business. I love you guys and I cannot wait to see you.”
