Comedian Andy Dick claimed that he was punched by a man after a routine in New Orleans, which apparently left him unconscious for 15 minutes.

According to Andy and a few witnesses, the unknown suspect approached him outside One Eyed Jacks nightclub. The suspect then “sucker-punched” him to the ground, knocking his head on a motorcycle and striking the pavement as he fell, according to guitarist-singer Paris Dylan, the Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate reports.

Paris said Andy was “knocked out 100 percent for 15 minutes” and was rushed to a hospital, where he was put in an intensive care unit for a “possible brain bleed.”

It’s unclear why the comedian was targeted.

“Some of his shows are a little wilder,” promoter Robert Couvillion said to the paper. “Every show is different. This show was mostly storytelling. He didn’t disrespect anyone … I’m honestly stumped, flabbergasted.”
