As previously reported, Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter were caught kissing while vacationing in Italy.

In a matter of a month, Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn announced they were breaking up, and Miley and Liam Hemsworth announced their own split just a couple weeks later.

After Brody responded to his The Hills: New Beginnings costar Brandon Thomas, writing, “Watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon,” Miley responded with a comment of her own:

“@brodyjenner Go take a nap in your truck and cool off #HotGirlSummer,” she wrote, referring to an old comment Brody had written on an earlier vacation photo Kaitlynn posted, which said: “Hot Girl Summer.”

This is getting serious, y’all.
