Meghan Markle Is Starting A Fashion Line That Will Benefit Charity

We’re SO excited that Meghan Markle is turning into a fashion designer — for a good cause.

Recently, the Duchess of Sussex acted as guest editor for the September issue of British Vogue, where she announced that she is developing a clothing line to benefit the charity Smart Works.

In partnership with British department stores Marks and Spencer and John Lewis & Partners, as well as the brand Jigsaw and designer friend Misha Nonoo, the Duchess is launching a capsule collection of workwear that will donate clothes to Smart Works, a charity that helps unemployed and vulnerable women back into the workplace.

The collection will be available later this year.

“For each item purchased by a customer, one is donated to charity,” Meghan wrote in British Vogue. “Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.”

You go, Duchess!
