We’re beyond excited to see Jennifer Lopez in her next project!

According to multiple reports, J.Lo will be starring in The Godmother, a true crime drama about Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco. And the greatest part? She also might direct!

The film will follow the life of Griselda, who rose from an impoverished childhood in Colombia to become one of the biggest drug lords in the world, according to a synopsis. Griselda was a key figure in Miami’s drug trade wars in the 1970s and 80s, and was reportedly worth more than $2 billion before she was murdered in Colombia in 2012.

“I’ve been forever fascinated by the story of Griselda Blanco and jumped at the chance to play her on screen,” the actress said in a statement to Variety.
