Is Ja Rule Being Forgiven For The Fyre Festival Disaster?

Ja Rule hasn’t had the best year following the public’s realization of his role in 2017’s infamous Fyre Festival disaster. But as it turns out, he might be in the clear.

A federal judge in Manhattan ruled that the rapper can be dismissed from a civil suit over the festival — for which Ja Rule served as a promoter. This particular suit was filed by attendees who were cheated out of between $400 and $1,000 each.

As we all remember, the festival was supposed to be a luxury event in the Bahamas filled with world-class models, concerts by famous bands, and an island with a shark petting zoo.

Turns out, it was all a fraud led by festival organizer Billy McFarland, who was convicted of defrauding investors out of $27.4 million and sentenced to six months in prison.
