‘Fuller House’ Creator Is Accused Of Making Offensive Comments About Orgies And Pregnancies

Fuller House creator Jeff Franklin was dropped from the show last year, and now we’re starting to understand why.

Jeff has since filed a lawsuit against writer Bryan Behar, who became the showrunner upon Jeff’s departure. According to Page Six, Jeff is accusing Bryan of “spearheading a campaign to oust him by fabricating allegations and distorting incidents.”

He also accused Bryan of leaking the allegations to the press. Bryan denied speaking to the press about the allegations.

Additionally, Bryan says he participated in an internal probe only reluctantly, and because he “believed it was mandatory.”

Silisha Platon, Warner Bros.’ vice president of labor relations, led the internal investigation. She wrote in a declaration that seven women were interviewed as part of the investigation, who related that Jeff had fostered a toxic work environment.

One woman told the investigator that Jeff “seemed angry at women and did not respect their opinions,” while others quoted offensive comments he had made, according to Page Six.

Jeff allegedly said to one staffer: “She is probably going to be pregnant next season. I wish I could make all the women on my staff get hysterectomies.”

He would allegedly also talk about orgies he had over the weekend, according to another woman. In fact, two witnesses said that “he invited the writers to come to his mansion for the week, and the women were reminded to bring their bikinis.”

Following the investigation, Silisha concluded that Jeff had created a toxic environment for women and people of color. Soon after, his contract was terminated.
