Lady Gaga Breaks Silence on Her Split From Ex-Fiance Christian Carino
During a concert in Las Vegas, Lady Gaga spoke out about her breakup from ex-fiance Christian Carino.
Gaga split from the talent agent in February, which was sparked earlier that month when she attended the 2019 Grammy Awards by herself without her pink diamond engagement ring.
“Last time I sang this song, I had a ring on my finger, so it’ll be different this time,” she told the audience before belting out the song “Someone to Watch Over Me.”
The singer has been trying to recover from the heartbreak as best she can.
“Gaga has been in such a focus on her career right now and has not even had time to address what has been happening between her and Christian, emotionally,” an insider told Us Weekly. “She has been telling those around her, ‘Let’s stay focused.’”
A second source said that Gaga “was devastated at first,” and that Christian had “infringed on her creative process” prior to their split. “[She] couldn’t risk jeopardizing her career in that way, over a man, and that’s not something she would stand for.”
Apparently, “She’s been hounded by Christian,” the insider added. “She told him not to contact her.”
