Here’s How Taron Egerton Handled Those Steamy Gay Sex Scenes in ‘Rocketman’
Rocketman debuted this weekend to a roaring box office! Now everyone is talking about those steamy gay sex scenes — can you blame them?
But if you ask its star, Taron Egerton, it was a matter of approaching it from a true artistic perspective.
“You just sort of think about it in terms of making it tender and beautiful, and you don’t think about it as a sex scene,” the actor told Page Six at the premiere. “You think about it as two young people consummating their love and experience and attraction to one another.”
He added, “You just want to create something that is tender, vulnerable and, hopefully, moving and beautiful.”
