Here’s Why Elton John’s Husband Was Scared To See ‘Rocketman’
Rocketman is here! But Elton John’s husband, David Furnish, wasn’t exactly excited to see the film the first time around.
In an interview with Page Six, David revealed he was “terrified” when they watched the finished film together for the first time, saying, “It was an awesome responsibility.”
“When I sat next to him . . . it was without question the most anxious [moment] of my life,” he added. “He was so profoundly moved emotionally, I thought maybe we should not have done it . . . He was sobbing, he was wailing . . . There was no reading in between the lines — it poured out of him.”
Well… there ya have it! We know what we’re doing this weekend.
