Kelly Clarkson is a classy lady. After almost doing a face-plant while on the red carpet at the Indy 500 over the weekend, she ended up rising like a phoenix to laugh it off.

The singer tripped and nearly fell to the ground, as seen in a video posted by a fan on Twitter.

But of course, she played it cool and later posted about it, writing that the “best part of my day is always revealing to people that might not know how utterly not cool I am. That damn crack was hidden by the carpet man!”
