Prince Harry should be feeling more victorious than usual today after winning substantial damages from a news company that has since apologized for taking aerial photos of his and Meghan Markle’s country home.

According to a statement from Buckingham Palace, Harry “acknowledges and welcomes the formal apology from Splash News and Picture Agency as referenced in the Statement in Open Court today.”

The aerial photos were taken from a helicopter above their former home in Oxfordshire in January, and were published in The Times as well as other publications.

These shots looked into the living area and dining area of the home, and directly into the bedroom. It was argued that the photos “very seriously undermined the safety and security of The Duke and the home to the extent that they are no longer able to live at the property,” the palace statement continued.

No matter where you stand, I’m sure we can all agree that hovering over someone’s house and peeking inside their bedroom is a big no no!

Thankfully, Harry and Meghan got what they deserved.
