Gayle King Met With Meghan Markle Two Days Before She Gave Birth
Gayle King is friends with everyone!
Soon after it was announced that Gayle signed a new deal with CBS News worth $11 million per year, she flew to Britain and met with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry two days before she gave birth — and nearly one year after their royal wedding, by the way.
Gayle is now touting a special, Meghan and Harry Plus One. Apparently the couple did not give any interviews or participate in any capacity for the special, but they did get a chance to hang out with their friend Gayle.
The CBS anchor was also a guest at Meghan’s baby shower in New York in February, and has been speaking highly of Meghan and Harry on CBS This Morning. It’s clear the three of them are forming a close friendship.
According to multiple reports, their meeting was not caught on camera by onlookers as it was a private event in their Frogmore Cottage by Windsor Castle.
The special is slated to air on Friday, and we’ll definitely be watching with popcorn!
