Alex Trebek Wins Daytime Emmy
Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek has won a well-deserved Daytime Emmy, amid his cancer battle.
The beloved host has been very public about his diagnosis, so winning the award for outstanding game show host was emotional — both for him and his diehard fans.
In addition to Alex’s win, other hosting wins included Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest for entertainment talk show host, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host — which also doubled as a farewell award for Kathie, who has left the show.
