Kim Kardashian Explains Why She Wants To Help Prison Inmates
Say what you want about Kim Kardashian, she’s vowing to do some good in the world — one year after she helped to release Alice Johnson from federal prison.
“I told my dad years ago that I was really into criminal justice and he was like, ‘This will stress you out so much. You do not really want to take this on,'” she said in a clip of the recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “But I think now, having gotten so deep in helping Alice, I’m really motivated to get to know the law more and fight for people that deserve a second chance, like her.”
In the clip, she tells her mom Kris Jenner her future plans, while she reads letters from inmates who are seeking clemency from life or long (and unfair) sentences.
