Page Six reported that with three shows left in Saturday Night Live‘s current season, one of its favorite stars might be leaving after the finale.
Kate McKinnon is rumored to be considering a clean exit. The out lesbian comic has been a trailblazer for the show, having played everyone from Hillary Clinton to Rudy Giulliani, and she is a clear audience favorite.
But, given that she’s about to play Elizabeth Holmes in Hulu’s new project about the disgraced Theranos founder, Kate’s star might be growing faster than NBC can control.
According to Variety, SNL producers are working hard to keep her on board. No decisions have been made, but even the thought of it making us sad!
