Chicago Prosecutor Who Dropped Jussie Smollett’s Case Was Just Subpoenaed

Kim Foxx, The Chicago prosecutor who dropped Jussie Smollett’s case, has now been subpoenaed to appear at a hearing over how she handled the whole thing.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a retired judge is pushing for the appointment of a special prosecutor to look into how Kim and her team dealt with the initial investigation.

Jussie is also being requested to appear at the hearing.

Kim had dropped 16 felony disorderly conduct charges against the actor, who was accused of staging a hate-crime attack on himself for personal gain and lying to cops about it.

“Foxx’s conflict in this matter is beyond dispute,” ex-appellate judge Sheila O’Brien wrote in a report, adding that Kim should have sought appointment of a special prosecutor. “Instead, Foxx misled the public into believing that Smollett’s case was handled like any other prosecution and without influence.”

We’ll see what they dig up!
