Serena Williams was under a lot of pressure when she was leading the charge in planning her friend Meghan Markle’s baby shower.

Now, the tennis star is opening up to Business of Fashion about what it took to ensure that the shower was everything Meghan hoped for.

“Planning something like that takes a lot of effort,” she said. “I’m a perfectionist, so I’m like, ‘Let’s make it perfect.’”

Guests at the shower included Amal Clooney, Gayle King, Jessica Mulroney, Misha Nonoo and Abigail Spencer. Apparently, they were all treated to a flower-arranging class and plenty of delicious food.
