Nigerian Brothers Are Now Suing Jussie Smollett’s Lawyers For Defamation

The two Nigerian brothers who are accused of staging an attack against Jussie Smollett after the Empire star allegedly paid them off are back — and they’re out for Jussie’s cash.

According to CBS Chicago, Ola and Abel Osundairo filed a federal defamation lawsuit against Jussie’s legal team, claiming that they’ve been defaming their names in an effort to protect Jussie’s reputation.

The lawsuit claims Jussie paid “a sum of money to stage the attack [against Jussie] to benefit himself” and “directed every aspect of the attack, including the location and the noose,” the Chicago Sun-Times also reported.

The report continued: “Mr. Smollett used his clout as a wealthy actor to influence Plaintiffs, who were in a subordinate relationship to him and were aspiring to ‘make it’ in Hollywood. Mr. Smollett’s motivation was simple. He wanted his employer and the public to notice and appreciate him as a successful black, openly gay actor. So, Mr. Smollett directed every aspect of the attack, including the location and noose.”

In case you forgot, Jussie continues to claim that two men attacked him in Chicago despite the fact that Chicago P.D. has publicly stated that the actor staged the attack, and indeed paid the brothers $3,500 each to do it.

Oh Jussie. When will this end?
