Hoda Kotb Adopts Second Child And Names Her Hope
This morning, Hoda Kotb announced that she adopted a new baby girl named Hope Catherine. We’re totally ecstatic by this news!
“It’s a girl! It’s a girl,” the Today cohost said via phone call during a telecast. “I can’t believe that I’m here! I’m so happy to be here.”
“You think that you’re full… and Joel [Schiffman] and I were standing there when they hand you the baby and it’s the closest thing you’ll get to a live birth,” she added. “It’s amazing. I can’t believe it’s happening!”
“I can’t imagine any of this happening,” Hoda concluded. “We hoped and prayed about this.”
Hoda and Joel already have 2-year-old daughter, Haley Joy, who they also adopted. From the looks of it, she’s going to be a wonderful big sister!
