Woah, Jussie Smollett’s Alleged Attacker Just Won A Boxing Championship

One of the Nigerian brothers accused of allegedly attacking Jussie Smollet in what Chicago P.D. call a hate crime hoax has been busy.

Last Friday, Abimbola “Abel” Osundairo won the Chicago Golden Gloves amateur boxing tournament. And from the looks of it, he seemed unfazed by all the legal questions surrounding his involvement in the hoax.

Abel allegedly took $3,500 from Jussie to help stage the incident. Now, according to the Chicago Tribune, he took home the senior novice division title Friday night following a technical knockout in the first round.

According to police, Jussie allegedly hired Abel and his brother Olabinjo “Ola” Osundairo to attack him as a means to create public sympathy for himself. Court filings say that Jussie told Abel “not hurt him too badly and give him a chance to appear to fight back.”

Damn… well if Abel wanted to really hurt Jussie, this shows he certainly could have done it.
