Hugh Jackman is one hell of a dad, and thankfully his children seemingly gave him the green light for being “cool” enough to star in his latest film, Missing Link.

“My character is adventurous and goes off to find Sasquatch, the Missing Link,” he told Page Six. “Zach [Galifianakis]’s hilarious. I love this project because my son, a fan, loves the stop-motion thing with the real puppets. He thinks my doing this now means I’m really cool. And — since my kids are teenagers — this is not easy to achieve.”

Missing Link is out April 12, and something tells us Hugh’s kids will definitely be seeing this.
