How Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard Work To Keep Their Marriage Hot
It goes without saying that Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are totally #relationshipgoals, but even they admit it didn’t come without a lot of work.
“We definitely had to work really hard at being a couple because we’re both incredibly, painfully stubborn, and we’re pretty much opposites,” Dax told People magazine.
In a new feature for the magazine, the couple opened up about their life and the effort it takes to keep their love blazing.
The two first met at a dinner party in 2007, then reconnected weeks later at a hockey game where “the sparks were flying.” The two eventually wed in 2013 and had two daughters together: Lincoln, 5, and Delta, 4.
Not quite ready to settle down at the time, Dax broke up with Kristen months into their relationship. But four days later, he called and took it back.
“He called me and he was like, ‘I don’t know what I was thinking. I was dating someone else but they’re just not as interesting as you, and I don’t know what I’m doing,’ and he came back,” Kristen said. “But I still always remind him of when he broke up with me.”
