OMG! Luann de Lesseps Once Asked Bethenny Frankel’s Late Ex For $6M

In the latest episode of Real Housewives of New York City, Luann de Lesseps revealed that she once asked to borrow $6 million from Bethenny Frankel‘s ex, Dennis Shields, to buy an 8,000-square-foot mega-mansion in upstate New York.
“I was fixed on it. I had to have it, I was manic,” she said on the show, according to Page Six. “Believe me, I called everybody I knew for $6 million. There weren’t many on the list, and Dennis was one of them.”
She added, “I wanted that house more than anything. I would have sold my soul at that point. That’s how bad it was.”
Dennis dated Bethenny off and on since 2016 before he died of a drug overdose in August.
Bethenny also said that Luann asked her for money, so Bethenny became concerned about the “irrational financial decisions” Luann was making: “She got mad at me and was telling everyone, ‘Bethenny is a bad person because she won’t give me $6 million for this house,’” Bethenny said. “I was like, ‘Okay…’”
