According to Page Six, Gayle King is in the midst of a multimillion-dollar renegotiation with CBS News to stay on CBS This Morning, and reportedly wants “George Stephanopoulos money.”

King has one year left on her deal, and a source added, “Gayle is holding the show together, she wants George money — he got between $15 and $18 million to stay on at ABC.” That’s a lot of dough!

Currently, she reportedly makes $6 million a year and was ready to walk away from it all amidst the Charlie Rose and Les Moonves controversies.

Gayle’s interview with singer R. Kelly this week was so much in demand that CBS News is now devoting a Friday night special to it called The Gayle King Interview with R. Kelly, which will include interviews with his alleged victims, Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage.
