Luke Perry Dead At 52 After Suffering Massive Stroke

After suffering a massive stroke last week, Beverly Hills, 90210 star Luke Perry is dead at 52.

TMZ reports that Luke passed away this morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank. According to his rep, he was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends.

As previously reported, Luke was rushed to the hospital after suffering the stroke while at his Sherman Oaks, CA home. After paramedics arrived, he was found responsive and talking — but his condition deteriorated soon after.

His reps said doctors had sedated Luke, hoping to give his brain a fighting chance to recover from the trauma of the stroke, but apparently the damage was too extensive.

Luke had a prolific acting career on TV and in movies before becoming a household name on Beverly Hills,90210. After that, his career exploded.

He had a starring role as Archie’s dad on CW’s hit show, Riverdale. He also filmed a role in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Charles Manson movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which will be released later this year.

Our hearts are with his family.
