Beyoncé and Jay-Z Accept Brit Award Alongside A Meghan Markle Portrait

If pop culture had royalty, Queen Beyoncé and Duchess Meghan Markle would definitely make the list. 

This week, Beyoncé and Jay-Z accepted a Brit Award in a video filmed in front of what appeared to be a custom portrait of Meghan Markle as the British queen. And they were not trying to hide it! 

The entire video background is white aside from the Meghan portrait, and Beyoncé and Jay-Z are both wearing outfits that resemble their outfits in their “Apeshit” video, which dropped last fall. Jay-Z even appears to be wearing the exact same turquoise suit. 

In the Brit Award acceptance video, instead of a portrait of the Mona Lisa —which appears in the video for “Apeshit” — a portrait of Queen Meghan Markle hangs instead. This speech couldn’t get any more perfect.
