Ja Rule Wants To Do Fyre Festival Over Again

Ja Rule is staying positive despite the fact that his former business partner Billy McFarland conned numerous people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, as documented in two Netflix and Hulu documentaries examining the rise and fall of the failed 2017 festival.

Ja Rule was a very visible celebrity spokesperson and organizer of the festival. In a new interview with TMZ, the rapper stunned fans by saying he’s planning on doing the festival all over again.

“It is the most iconic festival that never was,” he said. “So I have plans to create the iconic music festival, but you didn’t hear it from me.”

Still, he’s not laughing about it. “It’s not funny to me, man,” he added, “It’s heartbreaking to me. It was something that I really, really wanted to be special and amazing, and it just didn’t turn out that way. But, you know, in the midst of chaos is opportunity.”

The rapper acknowledged that he, too, was “hustled, scammed, bamboozled, hood winked” and “lead astray” by Billy, according to tweets.

Hmm… that might be so. But is it a good idea to revamp? We’ll see.
