Jennifer Aniston Is Coming Back To TV With Reese Witherspoon

Following her 50th birthday, Jennifer Aniston is gearing up for her return to TV with The Morning Show, costarring Reese Witherspoon — both of whom are executive producers on the project.

The series, which is in production now, will mark Jennifer’s first recurring TV role since she wrapped Friends in 2004.

“Jen has always been a hard worker and a perfectionist when it comes to filming,” a source told People, adding that Jennifer has shown her appreciation toward the cast and crew of the series, which includes Reese, Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

“She often caters special treats for the crew and is always the first one to thank everyone for their hard work,” the insider said.

“Jen is amazing,” a source who’s on set added. “Having worked with her before, it’s fantastic to see how focused and committed she always is to making her project perfect.”

The show is based on journalist Brian Stelter’s book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV and will follow the dynamics and drama involved with producing a morning show.

It’s been picked up by Apple TV for two seasons, or 20 episodes.

We’ll definitely be watching.
