Cardi B Is Sharing Her Grammy With The Late Mac Miller

After Cardi B became the first female to win a Grammy Award for best rap album, Mac Miller’s ex Ariana Grande shared her frustration about Mac’s loss on Twitter — later clarifying that she wasn’t upset at Cardi, but at the Recording Academy for inviting Mac’s parents to watch him lose.

In an Instagram video where Cardi thanked various people, including her family, team and fans, the rapper ultimately shouted out the late rapper who died five months ago from an accidental overdose at the age of 26.

Mac was nominated in the same category as Cardi for his fifth and final studio album, Swimming, which lost to Cardi’s Invasion of Privacy

“I read an article that Mac Miller’s family said that if he don’t win, they want me to win so I’m sharing this Grammy with you mother f—er. Rest in peace,” she said in a video, then sharing a screenshot of the article to her Instagram.
