Macaulay Culkin Says His Friendship With Michael Jackson Was ‘Normal’

Macaulay Culkin opened up on an episode of the podcast Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, and shared secrets about his friendship with Michael Jackson.

The former child star explained that he met the King of Pop after the singer “reached out” to him in the early 1990s: “A lot of things were happening big and fast with me,” Macaulay explained. “I think he identified with that.”

At the time of Michael’s 2005 trial where he faced multiple accusations of child molestation, Macaulay testified, “I’ve never seen him do anything improper with anybody.”

On the podcast, the actor explained that although Michael was 22 years his senior, they bonded because “I was a peerless person … he had been through the exact same freaking thing. He wanted to make sure I wasn’t alone.”
