Here’s What Celebs Are Saying About Gillette’s Controversial Ad
Who knew a razor could be this sharp?
Gillette is causing a stir following their very #MeToo-inspired advertisement, basically encouraging men to think about consent. The powerful commercial showed boys of different ages standing up against sexual harassment, bullying and more.
“We believe in the best in men … to say the right thing, to act the right way,” the narrator states. “Some already are, in ways big and small. But some is not enough, because the boys watching today will be the men of tomorrow.”
While many spoke out against it, many others were in full support. Here’s what some celebs thought:
I've been using a men's Gillette razor since I was 14. Gillette was the first major company to hire me when I was kind of known as a risky little b for brands. I still use a gillette fusion razor and I still get so much joy from a fresh blade. in closing, I love you, Gillette.

I applaud @Gillette for this amazing, heart-felt ad addressing Toxic Masculinity. It’s powerful and much needed. I plan on sharing it with my son. (Love when corps want to do good AND make a profit! Right, @Soulpancake?). https://t.co/RCzYs09NDZ

Guys, please calm down. It's not like #Gillette's asking you to shave your whole body, wear makeup, perfume, high heels; not eat too much in public and not be above or below a certain weight…Right?
