Billy Bush is reportedly super close to signing a deal with Extra, according to the Blast. 

Billy hosted NBC’s Access Hollywood before joining the Today show in 2016. He was fired later that year after the leak of the infamous 2005 tape in which he chuckles as Donald Trump discusses grabbing women “by the p - - - y.”

Fox recently announced that it acquired Access Hollywood from Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, which will move Extra from NBC stations.

Currently, Mario Lopez acts as Extra’s host. Who knows what will happen to him if Billy comes on board.
