People are coming after Ellen DeGeneres for supporting Kevin Hart to host the Oscars. The actor recently stepped down from the gig after homophobic tweets resurfaced. He later issued an apology to the LGBTQ community for his “insensitive words” from the past.

When clips of Kevin’s interview with Ellen were released, social media users had mixed feelings about the discussion. Even actor Harry Cook slammed her for defending Kevin.

“I can think of at least 50 openly gay up and coming comedians who deserve your awesome platform more than d—-e canoe Kevin [Hart] and his blatant push for the Oscars gig,” Harry tweeted. “His recent Instagram tirade is proof of how un-sorry he is.”
